The City of Park Ridge and Park Ridge Garden Club are co-sponsoring the 2024 Residential Beautification Awards. The contest recognizes residents of freestanding, single family homes that have made their home and landscape the most attractive in the City. Landscape Design Council judges from the Garden Clubs of Illinois follow Standards for Evaluating Landscape Design when scoring properties. Besides overall appearance, judges consider quality and maintenance of plant material, color, balance and suitability of design. House numbers should be easily viewed in order to identify the property.

Prizes include $100  provided by the Park Ridge Garden Club, a one-year honorary membership to the Garden Club and a yard sign.  All winners will be acknowledged at a City Council meeting in August.
