2018 Saving Places that Matter To You Poster Contest

March 12, 2018 11:49 AM

Many places in our City play a huge role in telling our community’s story.  The Historic Preservation Commission is excited to invite all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to participate in its seventh annual Poster Contest.  We are asking students to share with us, in poster form, a building in the City that has a significant meaning to them. It could be a house that's been part of a family for generations, a school that children have attended for decades, Iannelli Studios, a church, or a favorite shop or business Uptown.  Details about the contest are available online.

The contest is open to all third, fourth, and fifth-grade students living in Park Ridge or attend Park Ridge schools.  All entries must be received by close of business on May 1, 2018.  The entries will be judged by the Commission at its May 2 regular meeting and winners will be notified.
