Do you know a high-school volunteer who has made a difference in Park Ridge?

Do you know a high-school student who has made a difference in individual lives as well as in their community?

The Youth Service Medal of Honor Award, sponsored by the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, is given to high-school students in grades 9 - 12 who reside in Cook County and have provided at least 100 hours of meaningful volunteer service to their community.  Last year, over 350 students received the Sheriff’s Youth Service Medal of Honor.  Together, they contributed over 45,000 hours of volunteer community service in hospitals, churches, and other charitable organizations.

For additional information about the Youth Service Medal of Honor Award, please visit City Hall or access the application now.  Applications must be postmarked no later than October 26, 2014.
