City Seeks Volunteers for Various Boards and Commissions

The city is currently accepting applications from those wishing to volunteer their service on the Animal Commission (1), Appearance Commission (1), the Board of Police and Fire Commission (1), and the Historic Preservation Commission (3).  The number of available seats is indicated in parenthesis.

 

Interested individuals are encouraged to complete an application which is available on the City’s website at www.parkridge.us.  Choose the Our Government tab and access the Boards and Commissions Application Form on the right side of the webpage.  A hard-copy is available in the lobby at City Hall.  Your application and resume should be returned to Deputy Clerk Peterson before February 28 by email, cpeterso@parkridge.us or by fax, 847/318-5300. You will be contacted by Deputy Clerk Peterson to set up a brief interview with the Mayor’s Advisory Board who will deliberate and make their recommendation to the Mayor.   

 

The Mayor’s Advisory Board is chaired by Alderman Maloney and also includes Aldermen Daniel Knight, Marc Mazzuca, and Nicholas Milissis.
