  New Year's Day, January 1
  Memorial Day, last Monday in May
  Independence Day, July 4
  Labor Day, first Monday in September
  Thanksgiving Day, fourth Tuesday in November
  Christmas Day, December 25
 
Parking Permits

The City sells six-month parking permits at the Cashier’s Desk at City Hall in May and November. Call 847-318-6015 for the sale date. Permits are sold for the following lots:

Touhy Triangle Lot, next to the train station $250 for six months
Fairview Lot, 10 South Fairview, south of Main Street $200 for six months
Uptown Court, between Washington, Northwest Hwy and Touhy $175 for six months
South Prairie Lot, 36 South Prairie, south of Main $200 for six months
