Let Your Airplane Complaints Be Heard!

The Airport Issues section on the City’s website, listed under the “Living in Park Ridge” tab, has been updated with new ways to document concerns over the increased airplane noise.  These easy-to-use resources make voicing your complaints easier than before.  By registering your complaint, you can help make a difference!

28th District O'Hare Air Traffic Complaint Form (provided by Senator Dan Kotowski)

With the growing concern over increased noise as a result of the advances in the O’Hare Modernization Program (OMP), Senator Dan Kotowski has provided a questionnaire so that he can better understand how you are being impacted by O’Hare.  He, too, is a Park Ridge resident and understands your concerns.   Responses received are sent directly to the Senator.

1-Click Aircraft Noise Reporting (provided by the Fair Coalition)

Developed by a member of the FAiR Coalition of northwest Chicago, the 1-click Aircraft Noise Reporting app makes filing a complaint of airplane noise simple and easy using your smartphone or computer.   Add your voice to the over 1-million complaints already received of loud airplanes flying in or out of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport!   This easy-to-use site offers a quick form to complete and submit.   Visit: http://chicagonoisecomplaint.com/

Numerical data collected by the 1-click app, the hotline (O'Hare Noise Hotline: 1-800-435-9569), and the online O'Hare Noise Complaint form will be presented to representatives of the FAA, the City of Chicago, and to the O'Hare Noise Compatibility Commission (ONCC)at future meetings.
