City Boards, Committees and Commissions
The City is served by many volunteer citizens who serve on various appointed boards, committees and commissions. Appointments are made by the mayor, with the consent of the City Council. The Advisory Committee on Boards and Commissions, comprised of the chairmen of all the City Council standing committees, meets as necessary to interview candidates.
