ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Full-Time
 
The City of Park Ridge's Community Preservation & Development Department is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Administrative Assistant.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering/directing phone calls, scheduling inspections, interfacing with the general public, data entry and data management, developing and preparing reports, and responding to internal and external requests in a timely manner.  Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
 
Minimum requirements include: HS diploma/GED, 3-4 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access).  Experience working with building permits, building terminology and/or zoning preferred, but not required.  Excellent customer service skills required.  General work hours include: Monday - Friday during City Hall business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).  Position may require evening hours to attend and to take minutes for City Commissions and/or Committees.  Starting annual salary is $41,794 plus benefits.  Interested candidates should submit a resume and application by Friday, December 1.
