Historic Preservation Commission to Recognize 100-Year Old Houses

November 26, 2014 01:02 PM

Is your house about 100-years old?

If so, the Historic Preservation Commission would like to hear from you. We realize not every house can obtain landmark status, however our centenarians are a very significant part of the history of our town. They provide a glimpse back in time and have been a mainstay that has added to our charm and character. These homes tell the story of the growth of Park Ridge, and the fact they are still being lovingly cared for is testimony to our past as well as the present.

Please tell the Historic Preservation Commission about your home so we can say, "Happy birthday and congratulations!" for a job well done and we will include your house on our "100-Year Old Home Honor Roll".
