City sets meeting with Com-Ed Wednesday, September 12, 2007

Public meeting is September 26

The City of Park Ridge has scheduled a public meeting with Commonwealth Edison to give residents an opportunity to address them regarding their concerns, and to share experiences they had during the recent (August 23) storm here.

The City Council requested such a meeting be planned, especially since a high number of residents lost power---many for several days. 

The public meeting is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26,
2007, in the Council Chambers of City Hall.  Residents will be asked to sign up in the customary fashion prior to addressing the City Council, and to limit their comments to five minutes.
