Members Sought for City Board and Commission Openings
Park Ridge residents interested in serving on City boards and commissions are encouraged to apply for openings. The Mayor's Advisory Board, headed by Alderman Richard Di Pietro, will be interviewing candidates in the near future.
At this time, there are vacancies on the Animal Commission, Appearance Commission, Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, Community Health Commission, Library Board, O’Hare Airport Commission, Public Art Commission, and one student position on the Youth Commission.
Those interested may obtain an application on the City’s website at www.parkridge.us under the heading Online Services/Documents, Forms and Permits/Board, Commission, Committee or Task Force Application form.
Service on the boards and commissions includes a commitment of time and energy to the issues addressed and attendance at one or two regular meetings per month.
