Police Arrest Suspicious Man

Park Ridge Police Detectives Arrested Daniel Thomas Paz during the morning hours on Thursday May 3, 2018 without incident outside of his residence in the 1900 S. block of Vine Av. in Park Ridge, IL.  Mr Paz was arrested following investigative efforts that identified him as the offender in two suspicious incidents that occurred on Monday April 30, 2018 in the 800 and 900 S. blocks of Western Av. in Park Ridge IL.

The first incident occurred at approximately 3:15 pm in the 800 S. Block of Western involving a 13 year old female was approached on foot by the male suspect who attempted to engage her in conversation, and commented on her looks.  The victim did not engage the suspect, who fled the area when the victim made her way toward a residence.

The second incident occurred at approximately 4:40 pm in the 900 S. Block of Western , and involved a 57 year old female, who was on foot.  The victim was approached by the male suspect, who was driving a silver Honda.  The suspect commented to the victim about her looks and propositioned her to engage in sexual acts with him, which she declined.  The male white suspect fled from the area to the East and South.

Mr. Paz has been charged with two counts of disorderly conduct.  Mr. Paz was released after posting  bond, with a pending court date of June 13, 2018 in the Second Municipal Court District of Cook County at 5600 Old Orchard Rd.
