The Farmers Market will remain open on Saturdays through October 27.  It is open 7 am - 1 pm, rain or shine. Whether you need fresh flowers for your buffet or veggies for your stew, the Farmers Market has it all.     

 

The Maine South Homecoming Parade steps off from the high school at 10 am on Saturday, September 29.  The route is Talcott to Belle Plaine east to Cumberland, north to Prairie, east to Garden and to Butler.  The parade ends at City Hall.

 

The Park Ridge Park District's Oktoberfest event will be held this Saturday in Hodges Park located at 101 S. Courtland Avenue.  The event begins at noon and continues until 9 pm.  Local restaurants including Harp & Fiddle, Holt’s, and Hay Caramba, will be offering autumn food fare and drinks the Oktoberfest event.  With the purchase of a $5 wristband, children can enjoy  balloon twisting, face painting, games, and the bounce house.  Come celebrate autumn in the heart of Park Ridge with your family, friends, and neighbors.  Questions?  Please call 847/692-5127.
