Park Ridge Police: 200 Block of Summit Death Investigation

 

      On February 9, 2012, at approximately 2:18 am, the Park Ridge Police responded to a call of a person down in the 200 block of south Summit Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male subject lying on the ground near a parking lot and the tracks. The Park Ridge Fire Department was summoned and it was determined that lifesaving measures were not required. There were no observable signs of trauma. The scene was secured and a death investigation was initiated.
     The investigation is being coordinated by Park Ridge Police Investigators who are being assisted by the northwest suburban Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT). At this time, a cause of death cannot be determined and the body is being transported to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
    The Park Ridge Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the deceased. He is described as a Male/White, between 30-35 years of age. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. Anyone having information about the identity of the deceased or who may have been in the area this morning between 1:30 am and 3:30 am, are asked to contact police investigators at 847-318-5252.
