Park Ridge Police Arrest Two on Drug Charges After Executing Search Warrant

On Thursday, June 25 at approximately 10:00 AM, members of the Park Ridge Police Department, assisted by a Northbrook K9 officer, served a search warrant on a single family residence in the 600 block of Ottawa in Park Ridge, Il. Seized was approximately 180g of  cannabis, 10 Adderall pills, 2 Hydrocodone pills, $2886 USC, a scale and baggies commonly used to weigh and package cannabis for resale and several pieces of drug paraphernalia. As a result of the warrant, a 16 Y/O M/W from Park Ridge was arrested and petitioned to juvenile court for Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and two counts of Delivery of Cannabis. Additionally, on Monday, June 29, Samuel Caplan, 18 Y/O M/W of the 600 block of Ottawa in Park Ridge, IL was also arrested as a result of the search warrant and charged with one count of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On Tuesday, June 30, Samuel Caplan was brought to a bond hearing where he was issued a $10,000 D-Bond.
