Park Ridge Police Make Series of Burglary Arrests
Recognizing the emotional toll burglaries take on victims, the officers of the Park Ridge Police Department remain committed to successfully investigating, arresting and prosecuting offenders who commit these crimes.
Recently, Park Ridge investigators were successful at identifying, locating and charging a number of individuals with burglary and related offenses. On May 1, 2013, with the assistance of the Chicago Police Department, investigators arrested and charged Tyrone L. Donald, 22 years of age from 5231 S. Racine, Chicago with Criminal Trespass and Criminal Damage to property. These charges stemmed from a burglary attempt in the 0-100 Block of S. Chester on March 19, 2013.
On May 9, 2013, Park Ridge investigators arrested and charged Linda Bachtali, 47 years of age from 6560 W. Diversey, Chicago with one count of Residential Burglary. These charges are a result of a burglary to a residence which occurred in the 100 Block of S. Delphia on February 14, 2013. As the investigation into Ms. Bachtali continues, additional burglary charges are pending for Park Ridge as well as a number of surrounding communities.
Finally, on May 13, 2013, Park Ridge police officers arrested Javier Rich, 27 years of age from 1532 S. Washington, Park Ridge as he was walking in the area of 25 Busse Highway. Mr. Rich was charged with Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Forgery, 2 counts of Burglary to Motor Vehicle and 4 counts of Criminal Trespass to Vehicle. The charges are a result of a vehicle theft with occurred on April 22, 2013 in the 0-100 Block of N. Meacham and numerous burglaries to auto which occurred on May 8, 2013.
