  Entry Level Police Officer
The Park Ridge Police Department, along with five other departments as part of the Northwest Suburban Police Consortium, is conducting a police test on Saturday, June 20, 2015.

Parking Enforcement Officer
 
The City of Park Ridge's Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Parking Enforcement Officer. Duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring parking areas within the City; analyzing parking situations to determine if they are in compliance with established guidelines; issuing citations for improperly parked vehicles; acting as a bailiff for adjudication hearings; and assisting the non-emergency police desk. Excellent customer service skills are necessary. This position requires interaction with the general public, frequent mobility in-and-out of a motor vehicle, working in various weather conditions (rain, snow, hot, and cold), and operating computerized devices. Work hours include: weekdays (mornings & early evenings) and Saturdays. Approximately 20-29 hours per/week, not eligible for insurance benefits. Must have a valid State Driver's License. Starting hourly rate is $22.09. Position is open until filled.

School Crossing Guard
 
Part-time position, under general supervision, performs duties associated with assuring the safety of children at designated street crossings. High school diploma or GED (desirable). Starting hourly rate is $13.75. Will train.
