COMMUNITY SERVICES COORDINATOR
Full-Time; Non-Union
The Park Ridge Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for a Community Services Coordinator. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing supervision and direction to all personnel and associated support programs within the Administrative Services Division, interacting with citizens and other City Departments, planning, organizing, and evaluating the daily operations of the Unit. Other duties include, coordinating parking enforcement system, work scheduling, and department invoicing. Serves as a liaison for vehicle license-related issues, the Health Dept., Animal Commission, Special Event committees, Public Transportation Commission, and
Adjudication for the court. Valid State Driver’s License and LEADS certification required. HS diploma or GED and 2 to 4 years of related experience required. Starting annual salary is $62,349 with full benefits. Accepting applications until Friday May 24, 2013. Position open until filled.

2013 Entry Level Police Officer Examination Announcement:
The City of Park Ridge in conjunction with the Northwest Suburban Police Consortium (Morton Grove, Niles, Northbrook, Park Ridge, Roselle, and Wheeling, Illinois) will hold an open, competitive examination to establish individual lists of persons eligible for appointment to the position of entry-level police officer on Saturday June 15, 2013.

School Crossing Guard
Part time position, under general supervision, performs duties associated with assuring the safety of children at designated street crossings. High school diploma or GED (desirable). Will train.
