Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers play a vital role in the Park Ridge Police Department. There are a number of opportunities for residents to assist the Police Department in a volunteer capacity.  Please contact Community Strategies Officer Ben Peterson at (847) 318-5233 or bpeterso@parkridgepolice.org for more information on giving back to the community by volunteering.  Click on the links below to learn more about our Volunteer Programs.

The Park Ridge Police Department is seeking civic minded residents to work with us and to help keep our community safe. If you have a few extra hours a month and are interested in becoming involved, there are a number of great opportunities including: Citizens Patrol, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), Parent Patrol, Police Explorers (High School Students), police academies and more. If you are interested in any of these opportunities or would like additional information, please contact Community Strategies Officer Ben Peterson at (847) 318-5233.
