Mobile Eyes

The Park Ridge Police Department is inviting local businesses to team up and participate in our latest crime prevention program, "Mobile Eyes".

The Mobile Eyes program operates on the principle that the best crime prevention resource any community can have is its citizens. Mobile Eyes, is a Fleet Watch type program which enlists the help of businesses whose jobs take them out into the community. Each employee represents an additional set of eyes and ears for law enforcement. Participating vehicles can be identified by a bumper sticker.
Simply put, Mobile Eyes is neighborhood watch on wheels. Participating companies in the Mobile Eyes program receive training on "how" and "when" to report incidents to police. Armed with nothing more than a cell phone or two-way radio, taxis, couriers, and truck drivers can deliver a strong message to criminals that they are committed to reporting suspicious activity.

Any business interested in participating in this program may contact the Community Strategies Officer at (847) 318-5233.
