How do I Obtain a Copy of A Crash Report?

Copies of traffic accident reports for crashes that occurred on or after August 1, 2014 can now be purchased online at https://ecrash.lexisnexis.com.  LexisNexis is our eCommerce vendor that makes it possible to quickly access and download a copy of a report without leaving your home or office, usually within 48-72 hours of the accident.  There is a convenience fee assessed by the eCommerce vendor, however these reports will still be available for purchase at the Park Ridge Police Department for the standard fee of $5.00.

To obtain a copy of a traffic accident report for crashes that occurred prior to August 1, 2014, please contact the Park Ridge Police Records Bureau at (847) 318-5307.  It is recommended that you contact the Records Bureau to confirm the availability of a requested report before arriving at the police station.
