On Tuesday April 16th, at 6:32 pm, the Park Ridge Fire Department along with automatic aid companies from two neighboring jurisdictions responded to the reported fire in a house in the 300 block of Cedar Street. Fire units arrived approximately four (4) minutes after being dispatched. Remaining companies conducted searches of the structure finding no additional occupants and ventilated the structure utilizing fans. Crews then conducted overhaul operations removing the appliance and some drywall from the ceiling directly above the appliance.
