FAiR Coalition requests your support by signing petition for moratorium of runways

FAiR has finally obtained a meeting with Chicago Mayor Emanuel and plans to tell him firsthand what people have been forced to live with for over two years.   FAiR wants to ask Chicago's Mayor to immediately act and put solutions in place for the airplane noise and pollution issues that have blanketed certain Chicago and suburban communities.  The meeting with Chicago’s Mayor has been set for Wednesday, January 27 at 10:30 a.m. at Chicago City Hall.  FAiR is the largest citizen movement on the North and Northwest Side of Chicago and Northwest Suburbs.  For a show of support and to help impress the importance of the issues on Mayor Emanuel, the FAiR Coalition urges you to sign its petition which demands a moratorium on the construction of any future runways and a halt to the planned demolition of diagonal runway 32R-14L.  If you are affected by the noise and air pollution as a result from the aircraft from O’Hare, please don’t delay and sign the petition today.

FAiR plans to take the signatures and hand deliver them to Mayor Emmanuel, Governor Rauner, as well as our local, city, state and federal elected officials.
