May 6, 2020 11:20 AM

Recently, Mayor Maloney issued a Proclamation recognizing the spirit of volunteerism afforded by many residents who serve on the City’s Boards and Commissions.  Volunteers are frequently referred to as the backbone of our community.

The City is accepting applications for three positions on the Library Board of Directors. Interested individuals can learn more about the responsibilities of the position by visiting the City of Park Ridge website at www.parkridge.us.  Applicants are strongly encouraged to review past minutes to better understand the business that is conducted, although it is not a requirement.  Please visit the Library’s website to review the minutes of past meetings

Your completed application must be returned to Deputy Clerk Peterson no later than May 22, by email at cpeterso@parkridge.us, by fax at 847/318-5300 or by mailing to 505 Butler Place, Park Ridge IL 60068.

Volunteers are an essential part of and a precious resource in our great City.  By donating your time and talent, you are contributing to the spirit of volunteerism within the community, making Park Ridge a better place to live and work.

The Mayor’s Advisory Board is chaired by Alderman Marc Mazzuca and members include Ald. John Moran, Ald. Gail Wilkening, and Ald. Charlie Melidosian.
