Battery collection discontinued

The City has just received notification from the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) to stop accepting batteries for recycling, effective immediately. SWANCC is currently in the process of researching alternative companies that can provide battery recycling services. The City will communicate any future changes to this program and if collection resumes.
