Be prepared for Uptown street closures and CTA and Pace bus reroutes midweek through the weekend

Pace bus 209, 241, and 290 and CTA bus 68 have reroute plans in place for later this week.  

Summit Avenue (Prospect to Touhy) will be closed  to traffic beginning at 6 am Wednesday morning and remain closed through 5 am Sunday morning for the Taste of Park Ridge event.   

Prospect Avenue (Summit to Northwest Highway/Touhy) will be closed Friday morning starting at 3 am and reopen at approximately noon for the WGN Morning news live broadcast Block Party event 6 am - 10 am.  

Please slow down when driving in the Uptown area due to the additional pedestrian traffic as a result of these special events.
