During COVID-19, Keep Calm and Carry Out

Update: City launches Eat in PR Campaign, Mails Restaurant Vouchers to Local Households

If you're a resident of Park Ridge, watch your mail! Two coupons, each worth $10 on orders $20 or more (with certain restrictions), are coming your way--or may have already been delivered.

These vouchers may be used at participating restaurants for services that are currently allowed under the State of Illinois current COVID-19 Resurgence Mitigation Measures. In other words, they are designed to be encouragement to #keepcalmandcarryoutpr -- although you can also use vouchers for delivery, curbside, outdoor dining, or whatever services the restaurant is currently able and permitted to provide.

See the Eat in PR landing page to see the list of restaurants and details on the program. Let's support local!

And use them soon! ALL VOUCHERS EXPIRE ON JANUARY 31, 2021.

Spread the word on social media with #eatinpr and #keepcalmandcarryoutpr

Supporting a local restaurant? Great! Now let's take it to the next level and use social media with the hashtags #eatinpr and #keepcalmandcarryoutpr. Share what you're eating, which restaurant it's from, and anything else noteworthy about your in-home gourmet experience.

You can write a standard post, upload a photo or video, create a story, or even "go live" …whatever you'd like. Get creative! Tag the restaurant if you know their handle. Our City accounts will share some of the best and most clever posts we're seeing.

Check back later for a feed of the City's Twitter account.

Support non-restaurant businesses, too.

COVID-19 is affecting more than just restaurants. To see a curated list of businesses of many types that are OPEN and/or in need of your support, check out Local Pacts, an app and website produced by local residents.
