 The following are designated Parking Holidays:

  New Year's Day, January 1
  Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., third Monday in January
  Washington’s Birthday, third Monday in February
  Memorial Day, last Monday in May
  Independence Day, July 4
  Labor Day, first Monday in September
  Columbus Day, second Monday of October
  Veterans Day, November 11
  Thanksgiving Day, fourth Thursday in November
  Christmas Day, December 25
 
Parking Permits

The City sells six-month parking permits at the Cashier’s Desk at City Hall in June (for permits valid July 1- December 31) and in December (for permits valid January 1- June 30). Call 847-318-6015 or email parking@parkridge.us for more information.

Permits are sold for the following lots:

Touhy Triangle Lot, next to the train station $350 for six months
Uptown Court, between Washington, Northwest Hwy and Touhy $200 for six months
Central Lot, west of the Library $350 for six months
Main Street, from Touhy to Prairie $350 for six months
Summit Ave, north side from Ridge to Euclid $200 for six months
Garden Street, from Fairview to Prairie $250 for six months

Update from the Park Ridge Police Department
The Park Ridge Police Department is diligently monitoring the constant changing situations that have occurred over the past weekend.
Garage Sales May Resume with Limitations
The City will allow Garage Sales to resume June 1 with limitations. Permits can be obtained at www.parkridge.us free of charge.
Beautification Awards Applications Due June 30
The contest recognizes homeowners of detached single family homes who have made their homes and landscaping the most attractive in the city.
Mayor Issues Executive Order Instituting Temporary Regulatory Relief for Restaurants
The order becomes effective on June 1, when outdoor dining is allowed, or, when the City is designated to be in Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois Plan.
Monthly sharps and light bulb collection postponed
The City has not yet resumed the monthly collection of sharps and light bulbs. It has been postponed until further notice.
Don't Toss the Wipes Down the Pipes
As a result of COVID-19, many people are disposing wipes down the septic system of their home which could lead to very costly problems.
