The City is currently seeking residents who would like to volunteer and offer their service by representing a Board or Commission.   The City will soon be conducting interviews for vacancies of the following Board or Commission:   Animal Commission (2); Appearance Commission (1); Civil Service Commission (1); Library Board of Trustees (3); the O’Hare Airport Commission (1), the Firefighters Pension Board (1);  and the Police Pension Board (1).

Interested individuals are encouraged to complete an application which is available on the City’s website at  Choose the “Our Government” tab and access the Boards and Commissions Application Form on the right side of the webpage.  A hard-copy is available in the lobby at City Hall.  Your application and resume should be returned to Deputy Clerk Peterson before April 15, 2015 by email, or by fax, 847/318-5300.
