Police records technician

The City of Park Ridge seeks applicants for the part-time position of Police Records Technician. Under general supervision, responsible for a wide variety of technical and clerical law enforcement support services related to processing, gathering, recording, maintaining, retrieving, reviewing and distributing law enforcement data and information.

 

Permit licensing & inspections assistant

The City of Park Ridge seeks applicants for the full-time position of Permit Licensing & Inspections Assistant. This position is responsible for processing building permit applications, scheduling building inspections, contractor licensing, responding to building regulation inquiries, preparing reports, and maintaining a computer database related to building permit applications and activity.

 

DATA ENTRY CLERK

The City of Park Ridge seeks applicants for the part-time position of Data Entry Clerk. Duties include high volume transacting; processing payments for vehicle licenses, and pet licenses.  Additional clerical duties as assigned. This position requires a strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience using a computer.

 

PAYROLL SPECIALIST

The City of Park Ridge’s Finance Department is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Payroll Specialist. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing and processing the bi-weekly payroll for approximately 350 employees; calculating retroactive pay adjustments for general increases and union contract settlements; preparing employer deposits to deferred compensation plans, pension plans and completing monthly pension reports; responding to payroll inquires and assisting management with ad hoc reporting and calculations.

 

POLICE CADET

The City of Park Ridge’s Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Police Cadet. The Police Cadet Program provides an opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement to obtain valuable work experience in a law enforcement environment. Cadets are given rotating assignments flexible with their college class schedules while working within the Park Ridge Police Department.

The City of Park Ridge's Public Works Department seeks applicants for the full-time position of Maintenance Worker I. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing unskilled manual labor tasks in the maintenance and repair of municipal streets, grounds, sewer, and water mains and operating trucks, miscellaneous power tools, and power mowers.

 

Crossing Guard

The City of Park Ridge's Police Department seeks applicants for the part-time position of Crossing Guard. This position performs duties associated with assuring the safety of children at designated street crossings.

 

CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER RECRUITMENT

The City of Park Ridge is seeking certified applicants to complement our Police Department.  The Police Department has 56 sworn personnel and serves over 37,000 residents.
