Have some fun in Park Ridge this holiday weekend!

The Park Ridge Farmers Market opens on Saturday, May 26.  At the market, you'll find a great selection of fruits, vegetables and other great food products.  The Park Ridge Farmers Market is located on Prairie, between Main and Garden Streets.  For more information, please visit to browse the vendors and check back for the latest events and programs that are being offered.  The market is open every Saturday through October, 7 a.m. – 1 p.m., rain or shine.


Sunday, May 27

The 2nd Annual Craft Beer Fest, sponsored by Harp & Fiddle and Beer on the Wall, will be held on Main Street, between Prospect and Prairie from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m.   The fest will offer 120 different beers from over 56 breweries.  Tickets will be sold, with each ticket good for a 4-ounce beer sample; the cost is three for $10, six for $20 or 10 for $30.  In addition, food trucks will be on hand, including, Carnivale, Happy Lobster and EVOO.  Food will be available through a cash purchase.  The play area with Bounce Houses for kids will raise money for the Park Ridge Kiwanis Club through a recommended $5 donation. 


Monday, May 28

The annual Memorial Day Parade, organized by John Prochaska and American Legion Post 247, will step-off at 10 a.m. from Talcott and Cumberland, making its way to City Hall following the usual parade route.   Let’s pay tribute to those who sacrificed so much to preserve our freedom.     

After the parade, be sure to attend the Memorial Day Barbecue hosted by the Park Ridge Presbyterian Church located at 1300 W. Crescent, just four blocks west of the parade route.  Enjoy live music, burgers, brats and beverages, bounce houses, games and ice cream.  The event will be held from 11 am – 2 pm.
