Interested in becoming a City volunteer?

The City is currently seeking residents who would like to volunteer and offer their service by representing the Liquor License Review Board or the Animal Commission.  There is one vacancy for each commission.


Volunteers are an essential part of and a precious resource in our great City.  By donating your time and talent, you are contributing to the spirit of volunteerism within the community, making Park Ridge a better place to live and work.


Interested individuals are encouraged to complete an application which is available on the City’s website at  Choose the “Our Government” tab and access the Boards and Commissions Application Form on the right side of the webpage.  A hard-copy is available in the lobby at City Hall.  Your application and resume should be returned to Deputy Clerk Peterson before May 22, 2015 by email, or by fax, 847/318-5300. You will be contacted by Deputy Clerk Peterson to set up a brief interview with the Mayor’s Advisory Board who will deliberate and make their recommendation to the Mayor.   


The Mayor’s Advisory Board consists of Aldermen Daniel Knight, Marc Mazzuca, Nicholas Milissis, and Roger Shubert.
