TIER 3 OPERATING HOURS FOR CITY HALL
City Hall operating hours will be 9:00 to 10:00am for seniors and vulnerable populations and 10:00am to 3:00pm for the general public.

Smart Water Meters - Convenient

This new smart meter technology will allow the City of Park Ridge to provide better customer service to its residents. You will no longer be required to read your own water meter! Your meter readings will be automatically transmitted to the City once a day. Having a system that can analyze consumption at the micro level will allow the consumer to resolve problems before they lead to property damage or a high water bill.  This system will allow us to be “proactive” versus “reactive.”  City staff are looking forward to helping you identify and solve issues quickly and get the most out of your new smart water meter and customer portal!

After your new water meter installation, sign up for the WaterSmart customer portal to take advantage of all the features offered such as, paying your bill online, viewing real-time water usage, and receiving leak alerts and other notifications.  WaterSmart is open to all customers, however its full functionality will be accessible to residents who have the new automatic water meter.  This portal is easily accessible by computer or mobile phone.

It is important to continue submitting a meter reading every other month until your meter is replaced.

 

 

The ZEROS matter!

Please remember to record all digits including the stationary zero(s).  Meter sizes 1” or smaller will have a 7-digit reading with one stationary zero.  Meter sizes 1 ½” or greater will have an 8-digit reading with two stationary zeros.

 

The City of Park Ridge provides several free and convenient ways to pay your water bill. We understand that our customers' needs vary and so do our payment options. We offer online payment, automatic withdrawal, in-person, or by mail payment options.

Option #1 is an easy and efficient way for our customers to pay their water bills through an automatic withdrawal from the bank and account of your choice.

Option #2 provides our customers a reliable and secure online payment option 24/7 from the convenience of their office or home.

Option #3 offers our customers the opportunity to pay in person during normal business hours, or drop off payment using the after-hour payment box located in the visitor parking lot off of Courtland.

Option #4 makes it easy for our customers to pay by mail.
