Park Ridge Community Health Fair planned for June 22

The 2019 Health Fair will be held on Saturday, June 22 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in Hodges Park and will showcase a variety of businesses and organizations that promote health, both personal and environmental. The Community Health Fair is free to attend and is presented in partnership by the City of Park Ridge Community Health Commission and the Park Ridge Park District. Over 50 representatives will be participating and the event will feature information about health products and services, health screenings, mini-fitness work-outs and children’s activities such as face painting, bounce houses and Wildwood Nature Center.
The fair aims to take a holistic approach to health as it will include resources related to mental and physical health, outreach to special populations and environmental sustainability. In addition, there will be FREE mini-fitness workouts as follows:

9:55AM Park District Tai Chi
10:20AM Tone UP Club Total Body workout
10:45AM CrossFit 88 Boot Camp
11:10AM Park District Body Attack
11:30AM Fitness Formula Club Zumba
11:50AM Lynette’s Cardio Dance
12:10AM Fred Astaire Dance Studio
The Community Health Commission and the Park District are excited to offer this opportunity for residents to learn about area resources and organizations that can help and encourage them to live healthier lives. (Please note, in the event of inclement weather, the Health Fair will be rescheduled to 6/29/19, same time and location).
