City Seeks Volunteers for Various Boards and Commissions

The City is currently seeking residents who would like to volunteer and offer their service by representing the Animal Commission (1), the Youth Commission ( High School Students), or the O’Hare Airport Commission (1).   The number in parenthesis indicates the vacancies for that specific commission or board.

Volunteers are an essential part of and a precious resource in our great City.  By donating your time and talent, you are contributing to the spirit of volunteerism within the community, making Park Ridge a better place to live and work.

To find out more information about a Board or Commission or to complete an application, please visit our website at  Choose the “Our Government” tab and access the Boards and Commissions Application Form on the right side of the webpage.  A hard-copy is available in the lobby at City Hall.  To be considered, your application, and resume, if available, should be returned to Deputy Clerk Peterson at or by fax, 847/318-5300 before July 6.  She will contact you to set up a brief interview with the Mayor’s Advisory Board in regards to your interest to volunteer.  The Mayor’s Advisory Board, consisting of Chairman Daniel Knight, Ald. Marc Mazzuca, Ald. Nicholas Milissis, and Ald. Roger Shubert, recommend the appointments to Acting Mayor Maloney.
